When you use the NursePerks mobile application ("App"), we may collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, encrypted password, optional profile details like specialty or shift preference, messages or feedback, and any recommendations or submissions you choose to share. If you sign in through Apple or Google, we receive basic profile information from those providers, but we do not receive your password. We may also collect usage data such as interactions, saved items, viewed content, navigation behavior, device type, operating system, app version, analytics, and notification preferences to help improve functionality and personalization.

2. How We Use Information

We use this information to operate the app, personalize recommendations, display rankings, improve performance, respond to support requests, send notifications if enabled, prevent misuse, and analyze engagement. These processes help us enhance user experience and maintain platform integrity. Notifications about deals, updates, or announcements can be turned off at any time in your device settings.

3. Affiliate Links & Third-Party Services

NursePerks may contain affiliate links or links to third-party websites and products. If you make a purchase through certain links, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, policies, or content of third-party services, and we encourage you to review their policies before providing any personal information.

4. User Content & Professional Disclaimer

Users may submit content such as recommendations, discounts, questions, or feedback that may be visible to other users. Please avoid sharing sensitive or personal information in public submissions. NursePerks does not independently verify professional licensure at this time, so users are responsible for confirming their eligibility for any third-party discounts or offers.

5. Data Retention, Security & Children's Privacy

We retain your information only as long as necessary to maintain your account, provide services, comply with legal obligations, and improve the platform. You may delete your account at any time through app settings, which removes your profile and deletes or anonymizes associated personal data, though some anonymized analytics may remain. We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information, but no system can be guaranteed completely secure. NursePerks is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. We may update this policy periodically, and continued use of the app after changes indicates acceptance of the revised policy.

6. Your Privacy Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time. You may also request a copy of your data or ask that we restrict certain processing. 7. Data Sharing & Service Providers

We may share limited information with trusted third-party service providers that help us operate, analyze, and improve the App, such as hosting providers, analytics services, authentication providers, and notification systems. These providers are only permitted to use information as necessary to perform services on our behalf and are required to protect it.

8. Legal Basis for Processing (International Users)

If you access NursePerks from outside the United States, we process your information only where we have a valid legal basis to do so, including your consent, fulfillment of our services to you, compliance with legal obligations, or our legitimate business interests.

Residents of certain U.S. states, including California, may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws, such as the right to request access to or deletion of their personal information and the right to opt out of certain data uses. 12. Do Not Track Signals

Some web browsers may transmit "Do Not Track" signals. Because there is not yet a common understanding of how to interpret these signals, NursePerks does not currently respond to them.
